Can’t have it both ways you idiots

Democrat women now are saying that women need paid time off work because of their periods.

I have no words.

Okay, maybe I have some words.

For the love of little green apples, what the pluperfect hell are they doing? You cannot be ‘women can do anything men can do’ (which is most assuredly NOT true) and then need to call off work for your period.

They’re saying that having a period is a gynecologic ‘procedure’. No, a procedure is surgery. Uterine contractions to expel the uterine lining is not.

And then they call it ‘economic violence’ to not let women off to eat ice cream and lounge on their couches. For the 15% (an absurdly high number) who claim to have debilitating periods, they should have doctor’s notes. This is already covered under most employer’s policies.

To use the word ‘violence’ diminishes the word. It is not violence to not let someone stay home because of their period. It’s a fact of life.

You cannot claim that your period is keeping you from working while also wanting equal pay and equal rights. All that does is mean that you are not equal and that you are not reliable. And that you are a strain on an employer’s payroll and insurance rates. There’s no net worth to an employer to hire women if this is a thing.

Either you suck it up and do your job or you stay home, permanently. That’s what being equal is.

  2. I was chatting with a friend from Japan , they wanted to know what American women were like . I said that many had taken the women’s lib to the extreme . Now most women in the U.S. think they can go toe to toe with Superman , and not mess up their makeup. They want to do everything a man can do , they want to get tattoos ,and smoke and drink and cuss , and in trying to do everything men can do , they have forgotten that they are very good at some of the things men can’t do . I do not want to date someone covered in ink , chewing tobacco guzzling whisky that swears better that seal team 6 . If I wanted that I’d go up to the U.P. and hook up with a lumberjack (or is it Jill?)

  3. Extending the concept….if 4-6 days/month, from age ~13 to age ~50, female humans “are not equal and that you are not reliable” for purposes of productive work, then does that also extend to the rationality required to evaluate political condidates and render a competent decision regarding political leadership selection? How about economic decisions, as in “running a country, or federal bureau thereof, running a state as governor, a city as mayor, running a business, as in “CEO””?

If so, for a start, the 19th Amendment must immediately be repealed to protect the American political structure – and the country it is intended to support and manage – from being subjected to biologically imbalanced irrationality, and employment restrictions created and applied forthwith.

Given who’s propagating this, I call Bullshit…..but we really do need to make a decision. Either women (womyns?) are equal in the ways that matter or they are not. If the answer is “are” then they need to start acting like it and requirements need to be estabished and enforced rationally and uniformly; if the answer is “not” then ratonality requires establishing protective barriers nation- and business-wide.

And, the answer is not the Leftist Paroxysm “give men (myns?) 5 days/month off as balanced compensation;” this planet rotates consistently every single day, has done so for about 4.5 billion years, and is projected to reliably continue doing so for at least another 5 billion. Some things just. do. not. change.

  4. I’m with Boneman, there were times I kinda wished some of my female co-workers would have stayed home.

That said, I’ve been told I wasn’t all that pleasant to work with either, but at least I was consistently unpleasant 365 days a year.
