  1. Omg!
I have the Dear Guest list of “items for sale” too! Stole it from the Hotel Piccadilly in Fresno. There was no price listed for the sign.

It is my most valued possession and is in my will (haha).

Mine also lists the showerhead. The F’ing showerhead.

    Priceless!

Wow. Your cemetery meme pushed me into a long reverie, from which I just recovered after a long talk with my loving wife.

I managed my father’s life as he died from a brutal, gruesome, painful, and dehumanizing cancer. His burial wishes were cremation followed by being buried at the site where his parents were interred, The year of that ordeal marked a series of watershed events that upended my personal and professional lives.

I personally buried his cremains. I visited the grave site, I dug the hole, I placed his remains. I was able to return the site to the state it was in when I arrived. You would have been hard pressed to notice that I had been there.

I asked permission from the man that maintained the cemetery. He allowed me to bury my dad. He met me at the cemetery and we had a short discussion. When he observed my tools, my appearance, and my attitude, he said that it looked like I had it under control and then he left.

It is odd that a simple meme would have that effect even after thirty years. There is some truth to the statement that a picture is worth a thousand words. Thank you.
