   OK, not caring about how much wood a woodchuck would chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood is acceptable

   But I want to know how many cans can a cannibal nibble if a cannibal can nibble cans?

   One year, we had a Japanese girl exchange student have that happen twice.

   The first time was Halloween. She wore a Yukata to school. By the time she got home, she was in quite the state of disarray because so much of that costume relies on friction to stay in place.

   The second time was after her mother sent her school uniform and she decided to wear it to school. It was during the “loose socks” phase of outfits. She was not disheveled in any way, but said that the anime freaks chased her around the school all day. She said, sort of wistfully, that she would never make that mistake again.

   That young lady had a number of missteps during her almost year-long tenure in our home. I have stories…
