   I was stuck in Arlinton, VA and had to go 3 or 4 miles to Alexandria in a blizzard.
   No taxis to be found. I flagged down a pizza delivery guy and gave him $40 to take me home.
   Mannix was a lame show but man did I love his cars.

   Of course I had a job before a driver’s license–how else was I supposed to get the money for my first car?
   If you care, it was 1980, and it was a $470 1969 Sport Satellite.
