I recall numerous goat head-induced flat bicycle tires back in the day. However, there is something worse for bare feet – sand burrs. Goat heads are removed easily, but sand burrs really enjoy being close to you. Anyone ever had a sand burr fight?

The traffic cone thing hits close to home. In one of the NE states, as soon as the snow banks melt on the interstate, the orange barrels are removed from behind the guard rails and put out into the traffic lanes. Yet, there is never a road repair crew seen in the vicinity during the non winter months.
Thanks for giving one of my favorite pastimes, stealing memes, an appropriate modern age moniker.

In the late 1970s I was in the Air Force attending a tech school at Pensacola NAS. One night the barracks fire alarm went off, people exited the building. A female service member decided to walk thru the grass from one end of the building to the other. When I first saw her she was being carried by two men. Saw her next afternoon, she was on crutches with both feet bandaged.
