…then you know it’s got to be bad.
Gavin Newsom, whose talking down to a black audience would have gotten him burned at the stake if he’d had an ‘R’ behind his name, is still taking a beating.
For those who didn’t hear it, he said:
“I’m no better than you. You know, I’m a 960 SAT guy. And you know, and I’m not trying to offend anyone you know, trying to act all there if you got 940, but literally, a 960 SAT guy I cannot. You’ve never seen me read a speech, because I cannot read a speech. Maybe the wrong business to be. You know, my dyslexia. I haven’t overcome dyslexia. I’m living with it.”
The Babylon Bee did a kickin’ take off (you should read the whole thing here), butCornel West, who was a professor at Harvard (of course) and is a black activist, called it.
“He could’ve said, ‘I’m just like you. I was born of a woman. I’ll face loss, pain, and death just like anyone else.’ But instead, when he thinks of Black people, he brings up low SAT scores. That mindset sits at the core of white supremacy—the belief that Black people are less beautiful, less moral, less intelligent! Don’t play with us like that @CAgovernor!!”
What Prof West is refusing to acknowledge is that what Newsom said is what Dems think. What they’ve always thought. Their base mindset hasn’t changed from before the Civil War to now.
And until that fact is spoken out loud by the entire black community, they will be pawns of the Left.
LBJ didn’t realize that what he laid down would last longer than twenty years.
