In Nebraska, the brainwashed youth at Freemont High School decided to ditch school because ICE or something. The fact that they got out the door means that the administration is complicit and accepting of this stupidity, if not downright advocating for it.
I’m pretty sure the district has policies about how and when students are allowed out of class or out of the building. So for this to happen, it’s school sanctioned.
But aside from all that, the headline reads that a mom is upset because her daughter got hit by a truck during this school-allowed activity.
But I’ve watched the video a bunch of times and it looks like this corn-fed cutie ran up and hurled herself onto the hood of a passing truck. So I think it’s more like she hit the truck instead.
She wasn’t moving very fast (pretty sure that would be out of the question) and it doesn’t look like the truck was either or the results would have been different (I’m speaking from personal experience. A pedestrian being hit by a truck going 20 MPH causes unintentional air-time with a ker-thud landing). So just oozing to the side of the truck is indicative of the physics at play.
Am I seeing it wrong? Although the mother should immediately pull lil punkin out of that school, if she was injured during a school sanctioned event, mom could sue. If she caused her own injuries, then not-so-much.
