When someone is so desperate for attention

Don Lemon (you might vaguely remember him as the drunk guy on NYE shows) decided that it would be an awesome idea to take a mob and interrupt church services in Minneapolis because there is a rumor that one of the church pastors is connected to ICE.

He claims he was just there ‘documenting’ but methinks he doth protest too much (yes, the pun was intentional).

Lemon claimed people had no right to object to protests like the one in the church, saying during his narration of the protest the Constitution allowed for protests at any time.

“The whole point of it is to disrupt and make people uncomfortable,” the former CNN host claimed.

Additionally he said that the civil rights movement was ‘about these kinds of protests’.

Ya know, the civil rights protests were before my time but I do not recall any church being invaded by protestors. Additionally, it’s illegal to disrupt church services and interfere with their worship.

The US Department of Justice has opened a civil rights investigation into the disruption of a St Paul church service, citing potential violations of the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.

The FACE Act makes it a federal crime to use force, threats, or obstruction to interfere with individuals exercising their right to religious worship, including entering or participating in services at houses of worship.

Video from inside the church shows congregants visibly shaken with the service ultimately being shut down. It is unclear how the protesters obtained the information that led them to target the church.

The shutdown of the church worship service in was co-organized by BLM activist Nekima Levy Armstrong, reports The Post Millennial’s Andy Ngo. Levy Armstrong used to be the president of the NAACP in Minneapolis.

Don Lemon, IMO, is an attention hound who has been searching for relevance since he was fired from CNN (and how bad do you have to be to be shit canned from that organization?).

So he’s giving these idiots an additional platform and is busy making equivalencies between the civil rights protests of the past to the removal of illegal aliens (all of whom have broken the law and many of whom have been grifting billions from the US taxpayer and the US economy).

  1. I think he, and the rest of the Left, crossed a sharp, bright line when they invaded the church services.

But I think that is the point…the Left want scandal, and wants confrontation. They WANT controversy and to force action by the Feds.
Polarizing the population is part of the plan

  4. I’m pretty sure during the civil rights era that protestors did disrupt church services.
Dems disrupting black folks at church, burning some down, so the point stands, but not the point he thought he was making.

  8. The contrast is staggering – “Americans” want illegal-alien criminals removed from our sovereign Republic. Meanwhile, sponsored/organized democrat terrorists harass, intimidate, interfere, and cause mayhem and injury to Federal LEOs and American citizens. These destructive paid-parasites need to be firmly put in their place.

  9. A less polite congregation would have opened fire. I have the feeling more congregations will now be armed, and dangerous, to the likes of the scum that terrorized the church members.

  11. B–Agreed. I don’t think they realized how polarizing it would be. They went from idiots to threat. Probably a bug, not a feature to them though.

Peaowed–Saw an AI video on that. Did not end well.

Mike G–Yep. And hopefully he’ll get arrested like the others.

CRC–Indeed. And it’s the same group that is counter-protesting the Iranians who want their country out from under muslim rule.

crazyeighter–They really have no idea who they are dealing with.

Nemo–I’m liking her more and more. But yes, they’ll walk because of a shared ideology with the judiciary.

TRoy–With you on that. Weird world we live in.

    1Off–Agreed.

jess–That’s what’s going to happen next time. And remember, it was Minneapolis where those kids were killed at church not that long ago.

NFO–It would have been. Unfortunately, even though one of the miscreants posted everyone’s names and pictures, no arrests have been made, to my knowledge.
