All your children belong to us

An illegal in Indianapolis decided to voluntarily self-deport. He naturally wanted to take his kid with him. I’m not sure where the school district felt they had standing on this, but they told him ‘no’.

I guess what happened is the guy was ready to go with the rest of his family and one kid decided to go to school despite being told not to. When he went to pick him up, the school wouldn’t hand him over to either the father or to ICE.

Never mind ICE involvement or anything else, how the hell did the school district or its personnel take this guy’s kid? And why, when the Dems are always screaming about separating families, did they think it was a piping hot idea to separate this guy from his child?

Did someone in the district take legal guardianship and, if so, how was that approved by any court? Otherwise wouldn’t it be kidnapping?

I have so many questions…

    These folks… like CPS in many states of DYFS in NJ wield “REAL” power. Like the IRS but they can confiscate YOUR CHILDREN.

    30 years ago I ended up being fully investigated by DYFS in NJ… because my Daughter went to school and told her teacher that she had her mouth washed out with soap. (for LYING… and it was not myself but her stepmother at the time). Mind, I’ve had less thorough colonoscopies.

    The hoops that had to be jumped through pursuant to appeasement of the omnipotent powers that be….

    What powers are wielded in the name of “The Best Interests Of The CHILD” are disturbing. And these pusillanimous TEACHERS…. What could have been handled with a phone call ended up being a stramash for sure.

    What went on here? Where are all the shitlibs crying about tearing children away from their families NOW???? HMMMMMM????

    …then there are the stories about how the Dept. of Youth Services in a New England state, systematically beat and raped the very children they were supposed to be protecting.

    Once the abused kids started coming forward as adults, the state protected the DYS officials until so many of the stories came out in the press and from court proceeding that the AG finally stepped in and prosecuted the abusers.

      Why didn’t they just start arresting everyone who tried to hold the kid there and prevent law enforcement from doing their job? Then, when theu used the defense that it is policy arrest all of the administrators who made or endorsed the policy.

    I like this sort of story. My son was all in for homeschooling. These stories helped convince his wife that turning the kids over to public schools was a no-go.

    boneman–The hypocrisy is staggering.

    wildman–And they aren’t willing to let even one go.

    Veeshir–Yep.

    Nemo–But it took a lot to get the abusers prosecuted.

    Unferth–Glad they went that route.
