I do not recommend the answering the door naked method. At best, it leads to mockery and pointing fingers. Had a couple of female friends who were going door to door and had some confused old man answer the door naked… much merriment ensued.

Never understood the appeal of Vin Diesel. He has to be one of the blobbiest-looking leading men in Hollywood. No woman would ever achieve his level of success in film with that nose and a turtle neck. Reminds me of Spiro Agnew*.

Meh, may as well take it down. First, because we’re full up here and don’t need anymore outsiders showing up. Tear down that obnoxious, shitty poem by emma lazarus too, while we’re at it. Second, America has gotten so far from it’s founding ideals that it’s really an act of mockery to continue displaying Lady Liberty.

Loved Bloom County….brilliant stuff right up there with Doonesbury. My cousin adopted a rather overweight beagle back in the 80’s. It would sit up for treats and looked just like Opus when it did.

Berkeley Breathed is an interesting dude. He may be the only liberal alive with actual self awareness, and the ability to have made jokes at the expense of his own ideology (via his cartoons). He was also heavily into power boating and motorcycles, two testosterone laden activities that seem at odds with what one would expect from the prototypical tree hugging liberal; at least as we’ve come to know them now.
I used to enjoy Bloom County and it’s follow on strips, despite knowing I’d lock horns with him in a political argument. He is an extinct breed, near as I can tell.
