A rapist is not going to be deported back to his country of origin because the ‘duration’ of the act was not sufficient to warrant that action. He got three years in prison and is supposed to pay the 16 year old girl’s family $25,000 (yeah, like that will ever happen).
In the Court of Appeal for Upper Norrland’s own words (I have added the bolding):
Rape is therefore in many cases to be regarded as such an extremely serious crime that can lead to a refugee being deported, but an assessment must be made of all the circumstances of the individual case. Taking into account the nature and duration of the act in question, the Court of Appeal finds that the crime is indeed serious, but that there was no question of such an extremely serious crime that could lead to a decision on the expulsion of Yazied Mohamed. The deportation request must therefore be rejected.
So premature ejaculation is a reason to not punish a rapist within the fullest extent of the law. And there is no doubt in my mind that he’ll do it again.
One would hope that the problem will be resolved during his stint in prison. But it’s Sweden so probably not.
