When the school administrators decide to push an ideology

In Washington state in February, a girls JV basketball team went up against another team that had an 18 year old male on it. One girl sat out and then called a man a man. Which got her in trouble with the school for ‘bullying and misgendering’. I want to explore the school’s actions.

Let’s unpack this. Firstly, there was an 18 year old man on a JV girls basketball team. Those teams are generally made up of 14 and 15 year old girls. So what’s up with that? Is he so bad at playing that he couldn’t make the Varsity team or did his school not put him on their Varsity team because they wanted to make sure that no schools forfeited against them?

Now, the administration had options to avoid the conflict. They could have told the parents and team ahead of time to give them a heads up that they would be playing against a man. And they chose not to do so. Because they wanted to force the issue or avoid a forfeit.

I’m betting on the former since various administrators and the athletic director apparently had a meeting to discuss the issue before the game.

So it’s much better to blindside a bunch of girls and put them on the spot that evening by presenting the game as a fait accompli. And then punish the one who stood up and hold the threat of further punishment over her head.

All to push an ideology that is not fading nearly fast enough.

    I don’t care if someone decides to be one gender or another as long as they’re not hurting anyone.

    In this case though, an 18yo male dressed as a female fighting 14yo and 15yo girls, is obviously detrimental to all concerned – the girls, the school, the sport, and society. He’s a shitter. As are, everyone involved with putting him in this match.

    May dogs piss on their graves.

      Forget the tolerance of this bullshit, that’s exactly how we got here to begin with. I do care if some mental defective (or troll) wants to claim they are something they aren’t, because from there its only a short jump to them demanding accomodations, and then forcing acceptance to be compulsory. It’s slippery slopes all the way down.

      Fuck ’em. They need to get their minds right, not force society to conform to their delusions. This is why we need hard standards strongly enforced, and even harder oppression of deviants and subversives to keep them from stirring shit.

    While I generally think that Kinetic Disagreement should not be the first choice, at this point I am beginning to think that the fathers of the girls need to step up and consider things like Blanket Parties and other forms of discouragement.

    Perhaps not the most PC suggestion, but nothing else seems to work….

    B–I agree. It is not the first choice, but unfortunately it has to be the next choice. But it should be the administrators who push this who receive the discouragement.
