Turning the tables on the Nobel committee

We already knew that the Nobel peace prize committee are a bunch of twatwaffles after they gave the Peace Prize to Obama for the mere accomplishment of getting elected. And then he went on to start a bunch of wars and get a lot of children killed all over the world.

President Trump, who has actually been stopping wars and killing all over the world (see the list at the link below), got dissed by the committee, because they are smarmy douchebags. They decide to give the Peace Prize to someone that hardly anyone has heard of, outside of her own country of Venezuela.

María Corina Machado, showed true class after being put into an untenable situation of being awarded the prize because it was pretty obvious to most of the world that it was a dodge by the committee.

Instead of turning it down, which was an option, but didn’t guarantee that they would re-think and give it to Trump, she instead dedicated it to him.

It was an elegant resolution to a sticky situation. The Nobel Committee has shown themselves to be politically corrupt and morally irrelevant.

Kudos to Ms. Machado for navigating this clusterfuck not of her making with dignity and grace.

    The Nobel peace prize committee has made the prize worthless. I wonder if they understand that?

    Maria Corina Machado is a brave woman who has worked hard for peace, As you note, she is classy, and notes all PDJT has done to limit the Venezuelan dictator.

    The Nobel Peace Prize is an anomaly, being granted by Norway in Oslo. The nominating committee is a group of self-important liberal EU legislators and staffers. Importantly, the deadline for submissions is the end of January.

    Trump did not really get started until later. If he is not nominated this year, despite a number of leaders of countries from Pakistan to Israel putting his name in, that would be a bigger scandal.

    Bigus–They are running on their perception of their own importance. In their echo chamber, they think they are relevant when they have proven they are not.

    NaCly–I will bet they will never give it to him. I hope that if it’s offered next year, he declines.

    Do not discount the fact that the Nobel Peace Prize also comes with a monetary gift as well….IIRC it is a bit over a million dollars these days. Not an insignificant amount… Be keeping the prize she enriches herself greatly.

    Having said that, it was gracious of her to fete DJT for his efforts as well.

    Next year they’ll give it to Hamas for negotiating a cease fire.
    Which cease fire will be ‘strained’ because some unknown, new group called Totally Not Hamas! will be shooting rockets at Tel Aviv.

    B–True, so that’s another reason to not turn it down. But it was a good move on her part to bring DJT into the mix.

    Veeshir–And when that happens (and the world is odd enough that it is possible), I will be sure to give you full credit with a ‘you heard it first from Veeshir’ on that blogpost.

    Wait, didn’t Blinken just educate us ignorant doofus’ on the fact that the groundwork for the current peace deal was ack-shually laid down by the Joetato admin a year or more ago? And the NYT helpfully supplied us with the clarification that DJT ack-shually stalled the negotiations for months (yes, months!) through his stubborn refusal to slap Israel hard enough for the pro-Gazan palate. So in reality, this is a Trump-delayed Biden triumph. Follow the science, people.

    Hear that grudging sound? That’s the left, knickers all a-twist, struggling to extract the nuclear wedgie that President Donald J. Trump just perpetrated on them by brokering peace in the ME. It’s gonna take a sh!tload of Reparation H to soothe that butthurt.

    FYI, the Nobel committee has a website with a web mail app embedded in the “Contact Us” feature. It does not require a login or at least it didn’t in the past; not that I’ve made use of it ;-)), just in case you’d like to register your displeasure in their deliberations directly.

    They do ask for a name and email address. However, if corresponding with foul language and other assorted negative missives, I would make something up, if I was going to comment on their pitiful decisions.

    Wouldn’t it be nice if these smarmy little leftist bitches got so many negative comments that they had to shut down the web mail app.

    Next year, when the award date comes around, I hope Trump tells them where to stick their award. He certainly doesn’t need to money, although he could donate it to charity like he does his salary. ‘Course if he does refuse it, they’ll find some truly obnoxious leftist a$$hole to award it to.

    I’m betting Alfred Nobel is spinning like a top in his grave.

      I nominate Gaza City as the new UN HQ! Use the current facility as an ICE detention center, then implode it after every illegal has been deported.

      I’ll be waiting on my Nobel check, thankyouverymuch.
