Yes, women can be pedophiles too

In Hudson, Wisconsin, not one, but two female teachers have been caught molesting children.

Madison Bergmann, 25, was a soon-to-be-married teacher at River Crest Elementary School in Hudson, Wisconsin, until the father of the fifth-grade boy caught her abusing his son.

Bergmann pleaded guilty to one count of child enticement and two counts of sexual misconduct by school staff at the plea hearing on September 29.

The sex offender had several charges dismissed, including first-degree sexual assault of a child, exposing a child to harmful descriptions, using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, and additional counts of sexual misconduct by school staff and child enticement.

Why on this good green earth that woman had those charges dismissed, is beyond me. She should have every bit of the law thrown at her the same way that it would have been, had she been a man. I’m not even going to quote what she said to this child because it’s totally abhorrent and aberrant.

The other ex-teacher’s case is still in the works:

Abigail Michelle Faust, 24, of Hudson, was charged in St. Croix County Circuit Court with sexual misconduct by school staff and other charges, alleging she also kissed a fifth-grade boy last year in her classroom at the end of a school day. She’s also accused of failing to report Bergmann’s sexual abuse of her student.

Last month, Faust was charged with various criminal counts in both St. Croix and Washington counties for allegedly sexually assaulting a Washington County 15-year-old boy while working as his family’s nanny.

This one assaulted two boys AND did not report the other teacher (teachers are mandatory reporters of sexual abuse, BTW).

I truly hope that the inmates of female prisons deal with pedophiles the same way they are rumored to be treated in male prison populations.

  1. Women, in general, have always had such behavior winked at.

Women are nearly always judged less harshly than men of nearly any behavior.
    Y’all just don’t realize it.

Because she plead guilty on other charges that would have saved the 5yo from testifying

  3. Matthew W. – Not that it matters, but the boy was a 5th grader, not a 5yo. He would have been closer to 11 or 12 unless he’d been held back a few times.

To the point of women child molesters, who can forget the case of Mary Kay Letourneau? She was 34 when she “engaged in statutory rape” with a 12 year old, got pregnant, had the baby while waiting to be sentenced for the crime. She got a plea bargain that only had her serve 3 months and then got caught with the same boy again, was sent to prison for a full 7 1/2 year term. Eight months after returning to prison, she gave birth to a second child of the same boy.

    1. B–You are right and it does seem to be in many areas, which is why Karens rarely get back what they put out. And in the case of sexual abuse by a woman on a boy, it’s always been more nod/wink due to a distorted Mrs Robinson/make him a man mystique. But unless the male is eighteen or over, a grown woman is still a pedophile.

Matthew–Silliest is correct–5th grade and 11 years old. However, I understand because it’s still too much to put an 11 year old through.

Silliest–I remember that case. She was/is very sick and 7 1/2 years was too short.

  4. On further study of the Mary Kay Letourneau case, it seems she learned to prey on students from her father who had an affair (and two children) with a former student at a school where he taught poly-sci. She and her victim actually got married, stayed together 14 years and divorced in 2019. She died from colon cancer in 2020.

    1. Silliest–She was damaged goods and even though they stayed together, it was still abhorrent.

      1. Completely agree. Damaged goods and abhorrent perfectly describe her. Among the facts of that case that really annoyed me was that her victim (actually his parents) was ordered to pay support for the children that resulted from her predation. The victim was 12 when she first raped him, maybe 13 when the first kid was born. What was he supposed to do, go get a paper route and give her all his money? It’s a sick system. IMHO, the kids should have been taken from her. Maybe her victim’s parents would have been willing to raise them, but she shouldn’t have ever had any further contact with the entire family.

  5. There was a period of time between about 6-10 years ago where there was a continual steam of these predatory female teacher stories breaking, many of whom were quite young (mid 20’s, so right out of college). So much that there was a dedicated website that cataloged them for a time, including their leaked texts and photos. A right fitting public shaming operation, indeed. Can’t remember what it was called anymore, and kind of doubt it’s still up, but it was a thing for a while.

Then the stories tapered off, and have been infrequently reported on ever since. Many a meme was borne out of that era of female pedo creepers, and I’m sure they haven’t cut back on their degeneracy, so it just isn’t getting the attention it once did from a likely sympathetic press. Or maybe the predators have gotten better at keeping it off the radar, which I rather doubt. Whatever the case, it remains a blatant double standard in the criminal prosecution of these perps so often being lightly applied versus their male counterparts.

  6. Don’t know if it’s still out there, but there used to be a site that posted stories about athletes misbehaving. It was called badjocks. After some time went by, most of the stories involved female teachers preying on boys. At one point the person(s) running the site wondered if the site name needed to be changed.
Damaged goods – some people decided that they were NOT going to follow in the bad parent footsteps…and didn’t. There was a meme floating around saying that just because you had a bad childhood doesn’t mean it’s okay to be a bad adult.
