Heroes, all of them

A group of teenagers took action when they saw a house on fire and heard dogs trapped inside. They broke down the door, went into a fire and smoke filled house, found the dogs and got them out safely. Their care and dedication is the stuff of true heroes.

  5. Two things…4 white kids…just saying. Also, to kick in a door, always kick with a flat foot as hard as possible immediately adjacent to the door knob/lock. Ideally have some forward motion of your body too so there is extra momentum behind the slamming foot. That information is only to be used in legal entry situations…or going after traitors or child molesters.

  7. Yes.
I learned the hard way years ago working security, not to do the “movie shoulder” breach. 3 cracked ribs.
I got the door open anyway before the FD arrived to the smoking apartment.
