Taxpayer dollars drying up for mRNA research

HHS Secretary RFK Jr. has just cancelled contracts worth $500 million for mRNA research.

The reasons behind these cancellations were that most of the shots were for flu or COVID, but the pandemic demonstrated that “mRNA vaccines don’t perform well against viruses that infect the upper respiratory tract.”

It’s was long established before the covid time that shots don’t work on the flu. That’s why they were called flu shots, not vaccines, until they decided to change the definition of vaccine.

Additionally:

“After reviewing the science and consulting top experts at NIH and FDA, HHS has determined that mRNA technology poses more risk than benefits for these respiratory viruses. That’s why after extensive review, BARDA has begun the process of terminating these 22 contracts totaling just under $500 million,” he concluded, noting that the agency will still be prioritizing the development of safer vaccine strategies.

I think this is a great move. We still have evidence piling up that the covid shots caused, and continue to cause, heath issues and infertility.

  1. Taxpayer dollars should NEVR be paid for research. Let the pharmaceutical companies do the research….after all, they profit from the results.

If they get research grants than their products derived from that research should be public domain and no profits for the company that did the development on taxpayer dollars….

  3. The Dr who invented mRNA technology said and continues to say that the technology is not safe for human use because it hasn’t been tested enough for a long enough period.

That plays nicely into the previously suppressed reports of injuries from the jab.

Anyone at NIH, CDC and NIAID, especially that smarmy little prick Fruadci, and big Pharma, who approved this frankenstein product should be in jail with all of their assets forfeited to go into a fund to compensate victims of the jab.

  4. B–Absolutely agree. Taxpayer dollars should be spent checking the data given to them to ensure that it meets specifications. And yes, if they got public research dollars then profits are returned to the taxpayer.

MrLiberty–There is that part as well.

Nemo–Exactly–there’s a reason that this tech sat on the shelf. It killed everything it was tested on, either quickly or slowly.

I’ve never had a flu shot, I’ve had the flu maybe 3 or 4 times in my 62 years.
Once was kung flu, it lasted 20 hours, the worst was I had to make my own soup.

  8. Veeshir–Same on the flu-flu. However, I did have the kung flu when it came around the first time and it did set me on my ass for a couple of weeks.
