Just because I once used a rotary phone doesn’t mean I like them. They were horrible. The pushbutton was the absolute best upgrade to that thing ever.

I had a friend who was in a dispute with his landlord. After the dispute started, someone would break into his apartment and do the dishes. Sometimes they’d break in a clean the bathroom. Other times make the bed. All the contents of two cupboards would be swapped. His girlfriend eventually went nuts from it all and left him.
Sometimes the ghost doing the dishes is not the best thing.
