Netflix Era kids…. What I find to this day to be jaw dropping… is that I can PAUSE live TV to visit the fridge, rest room, walk the dog… whatever…
I think if I were to go back in time and try to explain that to my younger self it would be utterly unfathomable.

I worked on disk drives the size of washing machines back in the late 60’s.
I can’t remember what the storage capacity was, but compared to today, it wasn’t much.

boneman–I have over the air TV so have to run during commercials still. If I’m streaming something, just being able to put stuff on hold is magic.
