The question in my mind is who on the list was powerful enough to stop the list?

Either the list was disappeared by the FBI to protect people on the list (the Clintons and Gates, I’m looking at you) or the FBI/other deep state denizens are using the list to blackmail CONgress critters and others to advance the deep state’s agenda.
I’m looking at the blackmail angle. That list is too valuable to be disappeared.
Oh, what happened to the flight logs? Notice no one is talking about them any more.
Trump’s reaction the other day, when asked about the client list, was totally out of character, IMHO. That was the reaction of someone hiding something.
The fact that the FBI delightedly leaked the existence of a “,little black book” to the fawning media when Epstein was arrested the last time and now denies the existence of it is very telling on their culpability in a cover up.
…and we thought with new leadership in the WH and at DOJ/FBI things would change.
HAHAHAHAHA

Um, Maxwell had a 97 page book with 2000 names introduced and sealed at her trial. So maybe it’s the Maxwell list we want? This is just another gross error by Trump, but it reminds people that we aren’t voting our way out of this.

steve6–Probably most of them….
Nemo–Following in the footsteps of J. Edgar. Blackmail is a tradition with the FBI and that had to be too good to let go.
Texas Dan–Yep, I think that’s the one we want. Along with Epstein’s flight logs. And definitely true.

No sense in arresting these criminals until Trump and the congress can clean out the corrupt judiciary. Arrests and Prosecutions start after the midterm elections once the corrupt judges are removed.

I’m loath to quote Fellonia von Pantsuit but “at this point in time, what difference does it make?” We know they’re all corrupt & complicit in this mess. They know we know and not one thing will ever be done about any of it. Money may talk, but wealth whispers and it only whispers in the ears of those willing to do it’s bidding. The entire system is corrupt beyond belief and we, the People, will not be able nor allowed to change that.

The Epstein list explains why Mike Johnson caved. It also explains why SCJ Roberts is such an apologist. I’m wondering what they have on people inside the Trump administration that they’re willing to cave.
Frankly, the country desperately needs a G. Gordon Lindsey at this point. The man was willing to stand on the corner and take a bullet if it helped the country. If he were still around, he could handle whoever has/had/destroyed the list.
There might be legitimate reasons (read “reasons I agree with”) for withholding part of the list. Specifically, we all know that the Saudi ruling class are corrupt, evil, bastards. No reason to advertise that fact and ruin relations. But frankly, I’m not sure I care about sparing anyone. Especially the people that have delayed, compromised the integrity of the list.

EVEN DEMS ARE SCREAMING TO SEE A LIST THAT “DIDN’T EXIST ” NOW.
CLEVER PLAN ? OR ARE WE PLAYED AGAIN ?
WE WILL KNOW WHEN THE GITMO GUILLOTINE NEEDS SHARPENING AGAIN.
STAY TUNED . . . . .

There’s another possibility, besides credible threats to those DJT, Bondi, Patel, Bognino, etc. care about. A few months ago, I read something that implied most of the Epstein names weren’t politicians or celebutards, but they were bankers, finance guys, etc. Just the kind of people you can’t get on the wrong side of if you have to do something like sell a bunch of bonds at a good interest rate to finance a shitload of debt…

p2, thank you. In this case, it’s “loath”, not the verb “loathe”. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen it the other way.

OK, points off for the apostrophe in “it’s”, but my thanks stand.

Given tiny phone keyboards and the abominable auto correct, I tend to be very forgiving of people’s “typos”. Frankly, I was embarrassed when I saw “G. Gordon Liddy” get morphed into “G. Gordon Lindsey” (who, I’m sure, is a fine individual — just not the one I wanted to reference.)

Anyone who protects or aids in any way a child rapist (and thats what it is), deserves the same fate as the sick scum.
And until people start handing out the appropriate punishment, nothing is going to change. The system will always protect itself. I am so kicking myself for thinking Trump would be different. (not that i;m not enjoying the change).

Ted–Yes, the judiciary has been completely co-opted.
p2–Wish I had an argument, but I don’t….
Unferth–My mom was a fan of G. Gordon. We could definitely use more of his type now. I knew that Justice Roberts was compromised with the Obamacare=Tax decision.
Blueray–It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
Toxicavenger–Pretty sure the names on that list are the people we never hear about but that run things behind the scenes.
TN Budd–No grammar cops! 😉 And the ‘it’s’ with the apostrophe was correct ‘It is “loath”….’
Unferth–I knew exactly to whom you were referring. No worries. And yes, with a lot of folks commenting on their phones, autocorrect is sneaky.
Death–Agree, agree, and agree. I am still hoping that there will be significant enough change–there’s already been quite a bit!
