The California Interscholastic Federation is scrambling to try to find a way to both keep the feds and the rabid trans-activists off their asses.
What they’ve decided on will force girls to share a podium with the boy who keeps stealing all of their trophies and positions in an empty gesture. But hey, it’s California, so empty gestures are their stock-in-trade.
What they’ve done is ‘invited’ all of the girls that lost out to the boy to participate in the finals. And then, they will share a podium with the boy (because face it, he’s been wiping the floor with them because he’s a boy; the girls will get the placement and the trophies, but the boy will be able to continue to compete.
The CIF statement is a follow-up to an announcement made on Tuesday that stated that female athletes who lost out on qualifying for the state track and field championships because they were forced to compete against a boy would be invited to the event. The updated guidance means that if trans-identifying student AB Hernandez places in the high jump, triple jump, or long jump, he will be accompanied on the podium by the female athlete who would have finished in his position. The final events are set to be held on Saturday, with qualifying events held on Friday.
“On Friday, May, 30, if necessary, in the high jump, triple jump and long jump qualifying events at the 2025 CIF State Track and Field Championships, a biological female student-athlete who would have earned the next qualifying mark will also be advanced to the finals,” the CIF stated.
I’m not sure what braintrust came up with this pile of steaming policy because it’s still kowtowing to the boy. He’ll still feel validated and the only way to stop this is to end the validation. If they get nothing by competing, not even a stand on the podium, it’ll take the fun out of it.
