DEI–Alive and well at the Secret Service

Despite protestations to the contrary and new management, there are apparently DEI hires still serving.

There seems to be an glitch in the psychological screening process as two female agents who were tasked to guard Obama’s DC house got into an altercation because one was late in relieving the other.

The lack of professionalism was on display during the fight and in a call one of the women made on a recorded Secret Service line to request a supervisor to come to the scene “immediately before I whoop this girl’s ass.” The woman officer who made the call was upset that her shift replacement was late and assailed her verbally and physically when she finally did arrive to relieve her.

As you might recall, a female agent on Harris’ detail had a meltdown and started throwing maxi pads at people (unknown if they were used or unused–yuck). That one had to be held down and her gun taken away from her.

And it’s not just psychosis on display, there is incompetence as well. As a reminder:

Apparently Director Curran hasn’t been doing the house cleaning he was supposed to start on Day 1.

  2. M/W Chick, think that’s insane? Over at the EffBeeEye, Bongino is now going to investigate old, meaningless crap: the SCOTUS leaker, White House cocaine and the Jan. 6th pipe bombs.

1, SCOTUS already knows who the leaker is/was
    2. Everyone knows who the coke belonged to
    3. Everyone knows the pipe bombs were fake

In the restaurant business this is akin to mundane side work like rolling up silverware in napkins. In DotGov’s world it’s just everyday smoke & mirrors.

    1. WDS–How to look like you’re doing something without doing anything. But, like Matthew says, finding out who didn’t do what is important.

Like you said, we already know those answers.
But, what the investigations will show (if they actually do any investigating) is “who knew and who covered it up”.

    1. Matthew–Therein lies the big question.

I checked and I have the setting for people to have to log in is unchecked. Don’t know why it’s not working.

I can’t believe anyone thought anything would change, we just have a new fox in the hen house, not someone with a real backbone.

  6. Well I for one find it funny that the crap they tried to push as best and brightest are now the ones protecting their asses. I hope they bring the same level of commitment to doing the job for the protected Dems as the did for President Trump while he was running.

  7. Gary–The Secret Service got co-opted during the Clinton years when it was party all the time. They’ve never recovered.
