Multiple assaults caught by bodycam, only one arrest

Three NJ democrats physically forced their way into an ICE facility. As part of the forcing, they physically assaulted ICE agents as well as screamed profanities at them.

They acted like low-life thugs rather than members of Congress. It’s on video.

The mayor of Newark was indeed arrested at the site, but for some reason the Congresscritters weren’t.

Alina Habba said that no one is above the law when referencing the arrest of the mayor, but it seems that the rules are different…

  2. If we had a Democrat administration, and Republicans did this they would have been arrested, held all weekend waiting for arraignment, and state run media would be non stop “No one is above the law”!

  3. It would have been nice to see a couple of these idiots eat some pavement with the same kind of take downs the cops use on everyday citizens, especially that CONgress critter in the red jacket.

Why is that these districts seem to elect the nastiest mouthiest women fattest yugliest to these jobs?

Do they REALLY think that because some woman makes a lot of noise she’s actually saying anything meaningful?

  5. Brian–Exactly!

lnac–Yep, there’s rules. It’s pretty easy to call for an appointment. I guess someone from Fox News did and got the full tour without having to body slam anyone.

Nemo–I don’t get it either. Just plumb nasty.

TRoy–Unfortunately true. But they get elected over and over.

  8. …then to insult to injury Annoying Occasional Cortex is on TV last night saying that any ICE agent that touches a CONgress critter is gong to have serious problems.

Notice, however, she had the sense to stay away from THAT debacle.

Homan came on afterwards and said, effectively, that anyone, including elected representatives, who interfered with ICE officers would be subject to arrest and prosecution “to the fullest extent of the law”. He’s said that before. I guess they think he’s kidding.

I’d love to see a couple of these idiots made examples of by losing some teeth after being taken down face first by a couple of burly ICE officers. Nothing like eating some pavement to reinforce the notion that no one gets to interfere with ICE or any Police Operations.

These people were afforded entirely too much deference, IMHO. It’s about time some these folks were made examples of pour encourager les autres.

    1. Nemo–I agree. They are elected officials, not rulers. They need to be reminded that they are people.
