The new HHS report recommends therapy for children who identify as trans. Which makes complete sense. Gender dysphoria used to be categorized as a mental illness and is often associated with other psychological issues. And back in the day, ADULTS who identified as trans had to go through at least a year of counseling for gender dysphoria before being given the go ahead for drugs or surgeries.
But schools and doctors have short-cutted this process for children by ‘socially transitioning’. Combined with the emotional blackmail used on parents (the debunked ‘dead girl or live little boy’ rhetoric that conflates suicidal ideation with actual suicide attempts or suicide itself) then we’ve gotten to the point of stupid with children paying the price.
Considering the money generated by child mutilation, this report will be fought tooth and nail by activists.
