Georgia’s finest….

A woman files a police report. She says her ex-boyfriend kicked in her front door, choked her, and then ran off into the night. A warrant is out for the ex-boyfriend, but no one shows up at his door.

He finds out about the warrant when it’s flagged on his passport renewal and goes to the police station and turns himself in because he’s innocent. How are we sure he’s innocent? 1) He was out with friends on the night in question and 2) he’s in a frickin’ wheelchair and has been for 25 years. Which would make it impossible for him to kick in someone’s door or ‘run off into the night’.

How do the local gendarme handle it when he turns himself in? They put him in handcuffs which caused him to fall out of his wheelchair. As he’s on the ground, one of College Park Georgia’s finest says that ‘it’s a ruse’.

Bear in mind this is not the first time this woman has made a false police report. She is not in jail. Further, and this is the point I don’t get, she KNEW he was in a wheelchair–he’s been in the chair for 25 years and they dated 20 years ago. So WTF?

The police department has not apologized for their clear incompetence and stupidity both for not serving the warrant (not like dude was hard to find) or for causing him to dump out of his wheelchair and lie on the floor of the police station.

But they’re the ones who should be the only ones to carry guns??

  1. College Park is a toilet, and I’m sure their police force further reflects that. Government monopoly police forces need to be 100% reviewed. Societal security is far too important to allow Government control and monopoly.

  2. Settling of the West has lots of examples of law enforcement being controlled by the local bigwig, and the abuses that resulted from that. Today we have examples of abuses caused by government controlled LE. Who will watch the watchers? Side note: worked in corrections for a while. One guy had worked as a deputy sheriff in several locations. He had a high opinion of himself. He also had a great talent for missing the obvious. Bet College Park has lots like him.

  4. She won’t be charged due to the powers-that-be not wanting to scare women from reporting attacks on them.

    And I am not kidding.

I know of a frat house at a university that got in real trouble because a hired stripper claimed she was gang raped. Even though her whole time at the house was videotaped. And she got paid and got a tip. But the local PD wouldn’t arrest her for false report and the State Attorney’s office wouldn’t pursue charges against her because they didn’t want to scare other women from filing charges.

And, of course, the woman in question had a history of doing this very thing.

  5. Making false claims against the men they don’t like is their opium. It is like a drug that is additive.

  6. I’ve been on the short end of this particular stick. Not quite to the extent of being thrown to the floor in a police station, but close enough. I would like to know _WHEN_ there will be consequences for the actions of these “Accusers”. Note that I posed that as a statement since posing it as a question would have only been “Rhetorical”.

As to how L.E. handled it? That was even further beneath contempt than the actions of the “Accuser” and I do hope the REAL victim in this case holds them accountable.
