😀 My sister-in-law fell madly in love with Shatner when the show first aired, and didn’t care who knew about it. I think it hurt my older brother’s feelings a little – but at least I knew for sure nobody was going to be watching anything but Trek during Trek time.

Hi Chick. He’s not Faaaar left as a De zero or Hanks or Stinksteen however he does support the “hypothesis” of climate change. A generally leftist view.
He is pro gay marriage, a definitely leftist view.
Anyone who just “believes” in global warming or now the flavor of the day “climate change” has not done their homework to see the rediculousness of the hyopthesy. Leftists mostly use unsustantianted feelings to back up their views, and reject facts when confronted with them.
I was “in” climate industry for 27 years and as one who compiled stats going back 150 years and in comparing them to the last few decades, I KNOW climate change is a money grabbing bag of BS.
But…. AOC was a bartender and obviously knows more than me on the subject. LoL

Shatner is an odd case. Periodically exhibits some leftist tendencies, but then also has shown bouts of being rather “based” in the last couple of decades. He is also imminently capable of making himself the butt of jokes, and self deprication isn’t generally a quality of the ardent leftist.
So, for now, I’ll cut Mr. Shatner some slack as I’m not convinced he’s a full on asshole. But fuck Springsteen and Mellencamp for sure, those two sanctimonious pricks can go FOADIAF.

Star Trek O.S. Heaven help me I watched first run when I was a kid and was reduced to having to sneak out of bed and LISTEN at the top of the stairs when they moved the broadcast time an hour later (past my bed time!!!!).
To reach the age he has and done all of the things he’s done I would say a full life, well lived. God Bless.
Bill never stood on his politics as far as I really observed. Unlike other “Actors” mentioned. For that I’ll give him credit. Pretty much the way it should be.

At one point recently there was an argument between Mark Hamil (I think) and Shatner. Shatner blamed Star Wars for all the woke nonsense for introducing Ewok characters which were just woke backwards.

Now just ask yourself, who would you rather hang out with and shoot the shit with for an hour or two, William Shatner or Mark Hamill? Obvious answer is Shatner, all the way. Although, if I thought I could give him an ass beating and get away with no consequences, I might meet Hamill in a dark alley somewhere. He’s badly in need of a tuneup these days.
