The State Department is laying it out for the trans ideology folks. The first piece, removing anything after the letter ‘B’. According to some gay friends, it was allowing the ‘T’ etc. onto the bus that started the downhill slope.
But the State Dept is going further by stating some truths which include:
LGB travelers can face special challenges abroad. Laws and attitudes in some countries may affect safety and ease of travel.
Many countries do not recognize same-sex marriage. Many countries also only recognize the male and female sex markers in passports and do not have IT systems at ports of entry that can accept other sex markers.
About 70 countries still consider consensual same-sex relations a crime. In some of these countries, individuals who engage in same-sex sexual relations may face severe punishment.
As you can see, it also correctly points out that, outside of the US, there are a lot of countries that won’t know how to deal with an X or anything other than a Male or Female on a passport.
By the previous administration allowing people to use the X, our government was potentially putting US citizens into danger or preventing them from being able to travel as they wish.
And that’s one thing that the T+ community doesn’t get. They have their own echo chamber that thinks that the rest of the world will accept their lunacy.
It’s the same kind of stupid that had the ‘queers for Palestine’–they just couldn’t grok that those people would gladly propel them off the nearest tall building.
So now, when faced with reality, it’s slapping them in the face like a wet fish. But as it’s getting cleaned up here, then US citizens will start being safer abroad, as long as they aren’t asshats.
