So the national spelling bee will allow the spelling of the word ‘women’ as ‘womyn’.  Because they take their spelling from the Merriam-Webster dictionary, which we know is totally in step with any stupid that comes through.  So they’re all about the dumbing down of America for an event that is supposed to highlight the best and brightest.

I have to admit I thought of this movie, PCU, when I read the article.  Please note that it was from 1994.  They nailed it 30 years ago and it was meant as a farce (back when pointing out the absurdity of life was still acceptable and could be funny).  But dang, it was prescient.
