Star Trek, Kirk, and Unification

This has been making the rounds and I finally watched it.  And sobbed like a baby.  Yeah, I am admitting it.  I cried more than when Spock dies at the end of Wrath of Khan (belated spoiler alert).  And with that one I Cry Every Time.  Set after Star Trek: Generations.  It’s eight minutes of your life that will be well spent.

It was so beautiful and the fact that they had William Shatner–de-aged using new tech, Gary Lockwood (Gary Mitchell from the second pilot of the original series), and Robin Curtis (Saavik from Star Trek 3) in it added so much richness.  No dialogue.

Go here:  https://home.otoy.com/unification/ and watch:  ‘765874: Unification’

Have your tissues ready.

Then go and listen to Critical Drinker’s review.  It’ll hit you in the feelz also.

  1. Agreed, although I didn't cry. It was well done.

  2. Anon–Not sure why I did, but it was just so well done. I didn't the second time I watched it, unlike the Wrath of Khan–that's every time.
