Deportations

No, not the illegals (or should I say JUST the illegals).

There is another plan afoot to deport the swamp critter bureaucrats throughout the US.

From House Speaker Johnson:

“That accomplishes a lot of important goals but the first would be that you don’t have all these career civil service law protected bureaucrats,” he said. “Some of them have been camped out of these agencies for decades. They’re nameless, faceless. We don’t know who to hold accountable,” he said.

Of course there are some things that have to fall in line first, like getting rid of telework for federal employees.

One of the leading voices of the House conservative wing, Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., told the “Just the News, No Noise” television show Friday that he likes Johnson idea, but with some important caveats like first getting stay-at-home bureaucrats to come back to the office.

“Well, I would prefer an idea where we actually eliminated the bureaucracies and the agencies that need to go away. But here’s the thing: until you stop the telework epidemic the federal government has, it won’t work. So you’re gonna have to first stop that, then you then you can send them out,” Biggs said.

I seem to remember a few years ago they tried to get the Department of Agriculture to move to Kansas City and the wailing and gnashing of teeth was fierce and mighty.  Reports came out saying how bad it was and how much services were interrupted.

This time it might work, but I’m not sure if having a self-important bureaucrat next door would be value-added….  The only difference between them and the Haitians is they probably won’t want to eat my pets (they’d go the Peanut route, no doubt).

  1. Businesses that had teleworkers during the scamdemic had to insist that workers return to offices or effectively they would be resigning from their jobs. Many quit under the harsh, new fascist leaders (new boss, same as the old boss). Perhaps a similar reaction + the fascist, nazi regime being undemocratically installed in DC (snarc to the max) would clean out a few offices. Tears.I thought that the Interior Dpt was moved to Wyoming? Several dozen staffers griped and quit, others found new vistas what with Wyoming looking good after being in the 3rd world hellscape of DC. That and only a few years to the Golden Parachute.

  2. Errrrr…..hm, I don't know what to think about this proposal. “THEY” are over there in that fetid swamp, near where the new normals can keep an eye on them. Moving them to the center of America would be near me (Texas). Don't' really know if I want or need more liberals in my area; seeing as how we already have Austin nearby.

  3. all the three letter agencies are illegal. they are against the constitution which give the federal gov. only specific powers, and none of those agencies have anything to do with those power– except the IRS .

  4. Having them all together made sense, before things like telephones and emails and such.Moving them, dispersing them, is a great idea. No need for the entire government to be all in one place. Spread it over the entire midwest, and south (and north too!) dilute them. Be good for the economy, except for that eastern part of Virginia.

  5. After purging the federal roles DRAMATICALLY, there should not be enough bureaucrats left to bother with moving them.Repurpose or demolish the huge number of buildings no longer needed, greenspace for the win.

  6. Leave them all in DC, and then for climate change, turn off the HVAC systems. Let the DC swamp (literal) reclaim its own.

  7. If they don't know what to do with themselves once unemployed, send them to Canada and let their “healthcare system” deal with them.
