I had forgotten how good that movie was.Mel Gibson, Lee Marvin, James Garner, and a special guest appearance by Danny Glover…And Jodie Foster never looked prettier than she did in this.

JL— And now I’m going to show my age. James Garner was the original Bret Maverick. TV show from 1957-1962. And several takeoffs on the character subsequently. That was the beauty of the casting.
