You get a two-fer today. As I recall, everyone was skeptical of Michael Keaton’s casting as Batman since he was the comedy guy. He was really, really good. Enough to reboot the franchise until George Clooney decided to destroy it. In the first one we had Jack Nickelson chewing the scenery in a total over the top, don’t get any better than that way. In the second one, Michelle Pfieffer as Catwoman. I tend to ignore Danny Devito because even as Penguin, he really was still Danny Devito.
Fun Movie Friday–Michael Keaton's Batman movies

Yeah, I remember we were all “Michael Keaton? Are you fricking kidding me?” when it came out. But it set the standard. I'm way more of the dark dark very dark batman myself. The latest is very good in my opinion. But yeah, the Michael Keaton ones were the fan favorites. Have you seen the new Flash? In it, Michael Keaton says he's retired as Batman cause there's no more crime to fight. Which goes to prove he's the best!

He was our news paper boy growing up. Nice guy. He did things like renting a sled dog team to give rides to kids at Christmass for the church one year. I ran into him and his sister coming out of the local corner store. Said to him “Arn't you our old news boy?” He and his sister laughed and she said “Yaa, and now he's Batman” He gave me fist bump and they drove away.

Don–Didn't see the Flash, but that's a great line from Keaton.Victor–Totally cool! Everyone comes from somewhere and it doesn't seem like he's really changed from his beginnings.
