No AOL, Columbia House or MySpace. Clearly great minds avoided the traps. And I still write checks in cursive. Paying cash gets discounts these days.

17/24The aforementioned plus no blockbuster within 40 miles. Plus no walkman. No boombox but I did have a hand size AM/FM radio.

No AOL, and no Myspace. 22 outta 24 certifies me as an old bastard. Bonus point: my mom was a full-time homemaker until my youngest brother was in 7th grade. Then she began working part time in the family business.

I got all but MySpace, but I did have an AOL page (they had a great html WYSIWYG tool) and geocities.Columbia House was a great deal for me, living out in the sticks. I used them three separate times, and still have most of the 8-track and cassette tapes in the closet.

Anon-I used to write checks in cursive, but don't really do that much anymore. And cash is definitely king.NFO–I'm sensing a trend!Rick–I had the AM/FM hand radio as well.Big Ruckus–That's great! My mom handled the finances for my dad's business.bravokilo–Depending on the 8-tracks, you might have a treasure trove there.
