    I remember those “merry go rounds” fondly! I was very small and when the gang would get it going really fast I could hold on and be suspended straight out! I don't recall ever letting go to see how far I'd fly, but many kids did go flying off of it. I guess we learned about “centrifugal force” later but we knew what it did!
