Fun Movie Friday–The Replacements

I love this movie and have posted on it before.  Keanu Reeves, having a good time.  Gene Hackman, because he’s awesome.  Keanu gave up part of his salary in order to get Hackman on board because he wanted to work with him that much.

Football players go on strike.  These are the replacement players.

And the cheerleading scene on the next page

  1. Back when movies were movies!Ya know, an hour and a half of entertaining story and dialoge, some comedy, some action, some romance, and fine actors and actresses plying their craft. That's it, no politics, no religion, none of it.

  5. Excellent movie, funny but with a decent plot. One part that's odd these days is how people react with horror to the stripper cheerleaders. Now, that's normal, or was. I expect dudes in skirts soon. The NFL is trying to get rid of their fans.
