I have the TV on and there is a commercial for ‘Pretty Litter’ (a type of cat litter) with Martha Stewart and her ‘new kittens’.
The reason she needs ‘new kittens’ is because she didn’t keep her chow dogs separate from her ‘previous’ cats and the cats got chomped. Because chows do that. It’s their nature. Which she should know. Not the dogs’ fault. Martha’s fault.
I find it to be annoying.
When offered kittens I always say Sure, do they come with a recipe book?
