 On the federal level, a new law is being introduced in Congress to make squatting more illegal than it already is.  It’s specifically looking at illegals and is supposed to make entry into someone else’s property a deportable offense.

The fact that this is even necessary is almost laughable due to the fact that it’s just an extension of what the illegals are already doing.  They are squatting on our soil (and are being rewarded for it), so just taking up residence in an apartment or home is just the next step.

This quote made me laugh:

“The dramatic increase in the number of illegal immigrants squatting in American homes is yet another example of how the disastrous situation at our southern border is impacting communities across the country,” the congressman said in a statement announcing the bill. “This legislation will serve as a deterrent to illegal aliens contemplating violating the homes and properties of American citizens.”

It’s a fucking nothing legislation and is a bandaid at best.  Congress is made up of cowards.  If they really wanted to keep Americans safe, then they should pass a law and order the border to be secured and keep the Biden administration from selectively enforcing laws already in place.
