  1. I disagree with the police/firearm fireman/extinguisher analogy. Fireman come to actually put out the fire. Police just show up to help identify the bodies and take statements.

  2. Anon–The lefty argument is that we shouldn't have guns because there are police officers. Since there is some truth to what you say (depending on area, how they are limited in their responses, etc.) then that also puts paid to that particular trope.

  5. I’m driving Car D & yelling GO, YOU MORON! (or words to that effect with perhaps slightly more invective). I learned to drive roundabouts in England…on the other side of the road and the other side of the car. I truly doubt there is an actual intersection on the whole bleedin island. They’re ALL roundabouts; some are just a dot intge center of the pavement, some are double & triples. They’re brilliant from a traffic flow standpoint IF everyone has a clue how they actually work. (BTW, nice signal light, A$$hole!)

  7. Roundabouts… LOL… Even the state of NEW JERSEY figured out they don't work there. They've been dropping them all over Florida. “It reduces traffic wherever we install them!”Yeah… because people take alternate routes in order to AVOID them.As conceived and designed, yes, they should work. Problem is, the engineers that do this never seem to take into account the AVERAGE ability / intellect / attention span / knowledge of RULES of people behind the wheel here in many US locations.Another example that frustrates me? ACCELERATION LANES. If you don't know that term, you don't know what it IS or how to USE it. In the name of all that is holy and good… PLEASE DO. 🙂 Rant over. The memes as always… best way to start the day.

  8. Nah, in Jersey, they have those “jug handle” intersections. Weirdest thing I've ever seen unless it's those bridges around Kansas City that cross traffic over to the “wrong side” on the highway overpasses.
