It took over twenty-four hours for the race of the Burnsville killer to hit the news. Which told me what I needed to know about that factoid. I had even looked up the demographics of Burnsville to try to play the odds. As an FYI–it’s 61% white, 15% black, etc. Just in case you were interested. So demographically, the odds were in favor of a white shooter.
But I kept an eye on the news cycle. And crickets…. And I started to doubt the odds, even after they put a white guy that lived a couple of blocks over on the news.
So nothing until Monday morning. And it didn’t come from the MSM, by the way–they are still avoiding it.
Several sources have identified Shannon Cortez Gooden, 38, as the deceased suspect in the shooting today that killed 2 Burnsville police officers and a fire medic. He petitioned to have his gun rights restored in 2020 in relation to a 2008 felony assault conviction. pic.twitter.com/dqtDo6VHrX

All of this leads me back to when Ann Coulter went on Bill Maher’s show recently (as seen on Old NFOs blog).
Honestly, it’s common knowledge to those of us with eyes and ears. The color of the shooters’ skin and their religion do seem to correlate with how long they remain in the news cycle, or even if it hits anything more than local news.
Something else you might not have seen.
