Midwest Chick's Place

 I braved the pre-Christmas crowds to pick up some odds and ends from the big local store.  While in line I was talking to the cashier and the guy in front of me.  I commented on what a great day it is and that it’s CHRISTMAS and wished all and sundry a very Merry one.

The guy in front on me looked at the cashier and said ‘let me pay for her stuff’.  I was like ‘Thanks but you really don’t need to do that’ and he replied that ‘It’s Christmas.’  

I introduced myself, we shook hands, and I gave him a heartfelt thanks! The cashier said that it happens but the first time he’s seen it at Christmas this year!

Definitely going to be keeping my eye out for a chance to pay it forward!
