Fun Movie Friday–Clint Eastwood not Western movies
-
I'd watch Richard Burton go to the bathroom, so I'm good with “Where Eagles dare”I'm one of the few people that doesn't care for “Kelley's Heros.””Dirty Harry” is of course a classic.”Dead Pool” blew chunks. (When did the dirty Harry series jump the shark???)”Every Which Way But Loose” would be a classic if that fugly hag wasn't in it.”Space Cowboys”, another classic !!! Just wish they would have explained better as to how/why the American guidance system was on a Russian nuke…… Was the Directer of NASA dirty?????

The Gauntlet. More police corruption and great performance by Sondra Locke. Also Sudden Impact.

Matthew–Agree that Dead Pool was a crap movie, but the killer radio controlled car was an interesting gimmick.Anon–D'oh!Cederq–Exactly.turnkey–True that.Anon–The Gauntlet was good and the only thing that Sondra Locke was good in.

to Mathew W. I had some knowledge of how American tech was on a Russian satellite. MY dad invented satellite communication by means of lasers [what is today used in Star Link for Space-X] at TRW until the KGB got their hands on all that secret stuff.[There was a movie made about that scandal called The Falcon and The Snow Man]. At that point the whole corporation was finished as far as government contracts was involved, and my dad went on to do other stuff. But there is no question that most Russian tech was copied from the West in those days.
