After being vilified and declared verboten by the FDA (who claims they never told anyone that they couldn’t use it, please see this for evidence to the contrary) now the FDA is trying to dance the dance that they didn’t tell people not to take it.
Remember the ‘it’s horse paste’ meme that they put out there? With the ‘stop it y’all’? (Trying to sound folksy, I guess)
Or the horror stories about hospitals in Oklahoma being overrun with people OD’ing on ivermectin (that were almost immediately proven false)? Even CNN called bullshit (as much as they could and still be government shills).
Or the docs who were suspended or fired for prescribing ivermectin? Here, here, here, here….
Or marginalized?
Even the American ‘Medical’ Association jumped in:
The American Medical Association called on doctors Thursday to immediately stop prescribing the drug ivermectin to treat COVID-19.

And pharmacists refused to fill prescriptions (and kept their jobs, even though they can’t take the same action for birth control pills):
At Little Five Points Pharmacy, owner and pharmacist Ira Katz is also getting requests for ivermectin, but these scripts are being sent in by doctors.
“I’ve seen more prescriptions for ivermectin in the last week than I have in the last 10 years,” he says.
Katz says the prescriptions are typically written for higher than the recommended doses of the drug.
“Based on the quantity and based on the dosage, I know exactly what it’s for,” he says.
If he suspects ivermectin is being prescribed for COVID-19, Katz says, he will not fill the prescription.
These actions were based on the FDA slam campaign.
All that said, the money definitely needs to be followed on this one. You see, an EUA cannot happen if there is an existing treatment for a particular ailment. (I added the emphasis)
Under an EUA, FDA may allow the use of unapproved medical products, or unapproved uses of approved medical products in an emergency to diagnose, treat, or prevent serious or life-threatening diseases or conditions when certain statutory criteria have been met, including that there are no adequate, approved, and available alternatives.
So ivermection (and hydroxychloroquinine) stood in the way of BILLIONS of dollars of taxpayer funds being passed to drug manufacturers. That’s the bottom line.
