But let’s see, what else does Florida and Texas have a bunch of?
Yep, that would be illegals. Who are carrying all kinds of third world crap into the US.
Ya’know what helps to treat malaria? Oddly enough, ivermectin.

Retired nurse, my biggest concern and far more insidious is methicillin(penicillin) resistant tuberculosis that is making it's way North. Talk about wearing face masks… Cholera, dysentery, typhus, whopping cough, small pox and a myriad other diseases that we either conquered and/or eliminated here or where not prevalent here are being introduced or reintroduced. The evil/asshole clown elite and Catholic/Lutheran/Baptist/Methodist/Episcopalian/NGOs/Gov missionaries are complicit in our demise.

Cederq–Agree and there's a whole lot more. And yes, all of those entities who act as 'sanctuaries' are abetting the spread of disease here.Matthew–Yeah, Bill Gates set loose a bunch of GMO mosquitos in Florida. What could go wrong?Beans–Technically yes…

Yep. “Malaria Resistant” mosquitos released in the Keys. I'm in the Ft. Myers Area. Gonna be stocking up on Tonic Water here real soon. Fortunately, mosquito control in the coastal areas is pretty good. What you do NOT want to do is be out doors in ANY areas of central Florida after dark. It's abhorrent and almost like being in a sci-fi movie.

Boneman–And, remarkably, malaria becomes a thing. Bill Gates is evil, but who allowed it to happen?
