Ticking the last checkbox of tyranny

 It was inevitable that the Biden administration also fucks over the Native Americans.  If there was a checkbox left, that’s probably the one.

Interior Secretary Deb Haaland on June 2 placed a ban on oil, gas, and mineral-leasing within 10 miles of Chaco Canyon, located in Chaco Culture National Historical Park in New Mexico.

The ban is set to remain in effect for 20 years, despite pushback from the Navajo community, which argued that the prohibition would negatively impact low-income residents who depend financially on land leases.

Yep, the Navajos are going to lose an estimated $194 million dollars because Democrats are doing what Democrats do–they stick to a losing and fake agenda regardless of the cost to anyone else.

    Dan–Probably.NFO–Yep. I'm going to guess this is probably the worst thing foisted upon the Native Americans since settlers 'bought' Manhattan.Matthew–If you mean in that they are getting as screwed as the rest us, yeah.

    My son used to drive delivery to an area that included Indians on a reservation. He said you couldn't find a more racist lot that the American Indian.

    They voted for it, let them live with it. Now they will have to survive on what the Big Chiefs don't steal. Just like living in any Democratic city.

    I am white, Christ seeking, socially and fiscal conservative. I say that because what I am to say sounds like hippy dippy tree hugger.I live in the West. I've known apaches, chumash, yakima, navajo, and a few smaller tribes. Apache are scary SOBs, at least them I've known. Dińe (Navajos) are, on the whole, among the smartest people I've known. The other tribes are just shit, especially the Hualapai.Navajo hold a very high regard for the Marines (because of the Code Talkers) and many do enlist in the Corps. There are many Christian conservatives in that nation. Super respectful until they aren't (because you've repeatedly pissed them off) but quickly to forgive. Many don't bother to vote (multigenerational) as they prefer the old ways. Navs only recently, to the great consternation of many, to build a casino. Probably the last tribe to have a casino. Even so, they'll likely limit to one casino on that largest res in the country. Such are their tenacity to their moral values.

    Beaners legally in the U.S. absolutely loathe – even hate – the illegals. Lots of reasons why. Once they get going on the subject they'll go on and on, becoming evermore disgusted of the shitheads, the stream of filthy pejoratives becoming increasing in vehemence.
