I'm out of trust when it comes to science

Just an FYI, sausages made from GMO pigs may be coming soon to a supermarket near you.

Sarcasm mode on full:  The FDA has approved it and they really follow science and want what’s best for the American public..  right?

Please note that the approval was based on data from FIVE pigs.  That’s fewer than the number of mice they used to ‘prove’ that the bivalent shots for covid were safe.

With heavy biases surrounding genetically modified organisms, professor Oatley wanted to dispel common misconceptions and regurgitated that GMO’s are safe for consumption.

“There’s a trust that comes with university-based research,” Oatley said. “At WSU, we’re all about the science. We just want to ensure the research is valid and the animals we produce are healthy.”

There’s nothing in the article that says that these will be labeled.

You have been warned.  Only the federal government can fuck up sausages.

  1. Back when I had to take statistics, they had a term called statistically significant population. I pretty sure it wasn't 5.

  3. Gerry—Exactly! 5 isn’t even remotely a sample. Plus no long term studies on the effects of eating it.NFO—They really stretch it, don’t they?

  5. Well… Being a (non-militant, rest assured) vegetarian for ages, this affects me in the least. At least not directly anyhow….. But that it's not to be labeled… I can't imagine how that flies in the face of NLEA requirements….. but then, I'm not exactly a legal expert… I only worked in the industry for 16 years.

I’m an avowed carnivore so this stuff has the possibility of affecting me, just like them using the mRNA shots in pigs and cattle. I’ll bow to your expertise as far as labeling.
