Midwest Chick's Place

 Had to road trip yesterday for work.  On my way back I decided to stop at a small deli/market in a small town on my route.

While I was checking out, one of the guys who worked there came up to ask if I had a jumper box.  I said that I didn’t, but I do have 15′ cables in my car.

He thought those might work.. the woman whose car was in need was kind of stuck in a corner of the parking lot and was hard to get to.

Went to the car and got a compliment on my kit–cables, duct tape, multi-head screwdriver, fire extinguisher, etc.  Handed him the cables and went back in to finish checking out.

By the time I was done, the woman’s car was running and she had directions to the nearest AutoZone to have her battery checked and replaced if necessary.

As a thank you, I got a free dessert.
