Leading with her heart

 In one of the best moves that I’ve heard in a while, Jeff Bezos’ Courage and Charities Award went to Dolly Parton for 2022.  This award is to the tune of $100 million.

Considering her continuing charity work including her Imagination Library and her 100% funding of eligible employees–over 11,000, in fact, I think that the money is in extremely good hands.

  3. I think the type of “work” being performed is explained in the linked article but there is virtual friction to the article when I went to it which made me back out and drive on. Franknbean

  4. Anon–I believe he said he's wanting to cash out his fortune. I think he stepped down from Amazon also.Avraham–She started as a singer but also acts and owns several businesses including Dollywood, Silver Dollar City and others. She gives back to her rural Tennessee community extensively.Anon2–Yeah. Some websites suck.

  5. She's given and still giving millions of dollars worth of books to children in TN and KY… And she doesn't actually 'get' the money, it goes to charities she endorses.
