Buh bye Jan 6 Committee

 Well the Red Wave might not have manifested as expected, however, the January 6 committee has basically been cut in half.

Kinzinger, one of the token Republicans, bowed out of his race.  A Democrat from Florida did so as well.  So they are gone.

In Virginia, Luria got replaced by a Republican.

Liz Cheney didn’t get through her primary.  So she’ll be gone as well.

So that’s four of the nine and includes both the token Republicans.  I doubt anyone will replace them, making the committee even more unconstitutional than it was before.  To my mind, the Dems were trying to emulate McCarthy and his communist-hunting committee and they failed miserably.

They are going to be more dangerous until the next Congress is sworn in so the stupid isn’t over quite yet.  But this thing should have a flaming stake put in its heart come January 202.

    Now we need to see justice for the J6 defendants that are in jail.

    Don't count on anything improving. The left are past masters at corrupting rookie politicians. They can do a LOT of damage in the lame duck session that cannot be undone as long as the left holds the White House.

    They need a taste of their own medicine . Jan 21st would be a great day to throw their asses in the slammer while some investigations into their UnConstitutional Kangaroo Court tactics and wrongful imprisonment charges get settled.BTW, just found your place and already added you to the Blogroll at mine.https://bustednuckles.com/
