The NYC subway system is adding cameras to its subway cars. They indicate it’s for safety. I think it will look more like an episode of Unsolved Mysteries to those who may be monitoring those cameras.
If it was for safety, they’d have officers on the trains, not cameras. By the time the trains reach the next station, the perps will dash off and be lost in the crowd.
The apathy of the NYC populace to crimes committed in their midst is also an issue. If they started stepping up, then criminal behavior would probably drop like a stone.
Considering the rapes and molestations that happen on those trains too, might be more like PornHub….
