 Okay, I’m kinda skirting the edge of Godwin’s Law, but something I saw recently sounded eerily familiar.  I saw part of a movie about the rise of Hitler.  And how one of the first things that he did was take over the media (Mao, Stalin, etc. also made this a first move).

And then I read this:  “CDC’s plan to work with big tech to suppress vaccine ‘misinformation’ resulted in censorship“

From a new lawsuit:

 Today, America First Legal (AFL) released shocking documents it obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealing concrete evidence of collusion between the CDC and social media companies to censor free speech and promote Biden Administration propaganda. These documents are only the latest examples of this Administration’s blatant disregard for the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law.

We also know the government was fudging the data (or making it up) to meet their agenda. 

To that end, Birx writes that she “I had settled on 10 (feet) knowing that even that was too many, but I figured that ten would at least be palatable for most Americans – high enough to allow for most gatherings of immediate family but not enough for large dinner parties and, critically, large weddings, birthday parties, and other mass social events…”

But there is an important difference between what Hitler, Stalin, and Mao did and what happened here in the US in regards to the media.  They took over the media and installed their own people and shut down any other data sources (which were far more limited at that time anyway).  

Here, the media were already the government’s lapdogs (as long as the government is Blue).  So with one piece of the puzzle taken care of, they needed to shut down alternate sources of information.  And thus the word ‘misinformation’ was born with its associated censorship.
