In Australia, a group of doctors has started a SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome) registry. As you may have gathered by watching the increasing number of athletes or former athletes dying ‘unexpectedly’ or are having heart-related events, SADS (which was a truly rare thing two years ago) is on the rise.
Hopefully if they can do some good tracking, it’ll lead somewhere.
